Everest Colour Limited has witnessed an overwhelming response to its Initial Public Offering (IPO), with applications exceeding the available shares within just 30 minutes of opening.
According to early subscription data, the IPO received applications from 74,684 investors who applied for a total of 8,11,250 units of shares within the first half hour of the issue opening.
This level of demand represents approximately 1.24 times more applications than the shares initially offered, indicating strong investor interest right from the beginning of the subscription period.
Market observers note that such rapid oversubscription reflects high retail investor enthusiasm and strong liquidity in the secondary market, particularly for new listings. The early surge also suggests that the IPO may be heavily oversubscribed before the closing date if the momentum continues.
