Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AVYAN) has announced that it will not distribute any dividend to its shareholders for the latest fiscal year. The decision was made during the company's board meeting held on June 5.
The board has also decided to submit the audited financial statements of the previous fiscal year to Nepal Rastra Bank for approval in accordance with the dividend decision. As a result, shareholders will not receive either bonus shares or cash dividends this year.
Since its shares began trading in the secondary market in October 2022, the microfinance company has not distributed any dividend to investors. Despite this, AVYAN shares were last traded at NPR 1,114.90 in the secondary market, while a total of 2.5 million shares are listed on NEPSE.
As of the third quarter of the current fiscal year, the company reported earnings per share (EPS) of NPR 52.53 and a net worth per share of NPR 157.84. These financial indicators reflect the company's current performance and financial position.
