Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has appointed Acting Director Sudha Shrestha as its new Assistant Spokesperson and Information Officer, effective Monday.
Shrestha, who has been serving at Nepal’s central bank since 2064 BS, is currently working in the Governor’s Office. She has been entrusted with the new responsibility following the transfer of former Assistant Spokesperson Suman Neupane to NRB’s Biratnagar office.
According to NRB, Shrestha will immediately assume the duties of Assistant Spokesperson and Information Officer. In her new role, she will support the central bank’s communication, media coordination, and public information functions.
The appointment is part of NRB’s regular administrative restructuring aimed at ensuring effective communication and information dissemination to stakeholders and the public.
