United Ajod Insurance Limited has notified the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) of significant decisions taken during its 82nd board meeting held on 2083/03/04 at 4:00 PM.
The company has approved the financial statements for fiscal year 2081/82 in line with the Insurance Act 2079 and directives of the Insurance Authority. These documents will be submitted to the Nepal Insurance Authority for final approval.
The highlight of the meeting was the dividend proposal for shareholders:
- 4.2857% bonus shares on the paid-up capital of Rs. 2.31 billion
- 0.2256% cash dividend to cover tax obligations on the bonus shares
United Ajod Insurance stated that the proposal has already been forwarded to the Nepal Insurance Authority. Once approved, it will be presented at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) for endorsement.
This announcement reflects the company’s effort to balance shareholder returns with regulatory compliance, reinforcing its position in Nepal’s insurance sector.
