Green Ventures Limited has announced that its 52.4 MW Likhu-4 Hydropower Project has officially resumed operations following the successful completion of emergency repair and maintenance work.
The company had previously notified concerned authorities through an official letter dated 2083/01/09 (Ref. No. 90) regarding a temporary shutdown of the plant to carry out urgent maintenance activities.
According to the latest update issued by the company, all required repair work has now been completed, and the hydropower facility was brought back into commercial operation on 2083/02/26 at 5:58 PM.
With operations restored, the Likhu-4 Hydropower Plant is now fully functional again and has resumed electricity generation and supply.
The restart is considered operationally important for the company, as restoring generation allows normal energy production to continue and supports overall power supply into Nepal’s electricity system after the temporary interruption.
For investors and market observers, project downtime and restoration updates are often monitored closely because plant availability directly affects generation output and operational performance.
