NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal has successfully organized the first-ever NADA Green Drive 2026 rally in its history to mark World Environment Day 2026.
The rally was held on Jestha 22 with the objective of promoting environmentally friendly transportation and raising awareness about sustainable mobility. The event witnessed the participation of a wide range of electric vehicles from various brands, highlighting Nepal’s growing shift toward clean energy transportation.
The rally was supported by several automotive brands and organizations, including AUCWEL, Deepal, Volts, Kama, MPire, Skyworth, Future Motors, Nami, Tiago EV, Suzuki, Times Business–Skyworth, and Nepal Insurance Company Limited.
The rally commenced from the NADA Secretariat in Teku and followed a route through Tripureshwor, Durbar Marg, Naxal, Gaushala, Tinkune, New Baneshwor, Maitighar Mandala, Thapathali, Kupandol, before concluding at The Plaza in Pulchowk.
A total of 92 participants took part in the event. Upon completion of the rally, certificates were distributed to participants by Surendra Kumar Uprety, along with former NADA presidents Shambhu Prasad Dahal and Krishna Prasad Dulal.
The certificate distribution program was conducted by Milan Babu Malla, while the overall management of the rally was overseen by Mahesh Pal, who is also a member of the NADA Central Executive Committee.
Through the NADA Green Drive 2026 rally, the association aimed to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles and reinforce the importance of environmentally sustainable transportation solutions. NADA expressed its gratitude to all participants, sponsors, and supporters who contributed to the successful completion of the event.
The rally reflects the increasing momentum of Nepal’s electric vehicle sector and the automobile industry's commitment to promoting cleaner and greener mobility alternatives across the country.
