Gold prices recorded a moderate decline in Nepal’s domestic market today, easing by Rs. 1,400 per tola. According to the latest rates published by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs. 282,400 per tola, down from Rs. 283,800 per tola recorded in the previous trading session.
Likewise, the price of Tejabi gold also moved lower by Rs. 1,400 per tola, bringing the new market rate to Rs. 281,700 per tola, compared to Rs. 283,100 per tola a day earlier. The decline reflects a softer movement in domestic precious metal pricing.
Silver prices also followed the downward trend. The price of silver dropped by Rs. 15 per tola, settling at Rs. 4,310 per tola, down from the previous rate of Rs. 4,325 per tola.
Domestic bullion prices in Nepal generally respond to changes in international gold markets along with movements in exchange rates and local demand conditions.
