NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) has announced the auction of 45,000 promoter shares, offering an opportunity for individual investors, companies, and institutional investors to participate in the purchase of the shares.
According to the bank's notice, the promoter shares are being sold by the bank's existing promoters through a competitive bidding process. Unlike previous promoter share sales that were often limited to existing promoter shareholders, this auction has been opened to the general public as well as institutions, broadening investor participation.
Interested bidders are required to submit their applications within seven days from the date of publication of the notice. The auction application period will remain open until Shrawan 6, 2083, with the notice having been published on Ashadh 31, 2083.
Eligible investors must submit their sealed bids at NIC Asia Bank's Central Office in Kamaladi, Kathmandu, within the specified deadline. The successful bidders will acquire the promoter shares in accordance with the auction terms and applicable regulatory provisions.
