Nepal’s primary market continues to attract new entrants, with four companies recently submitting their Initial Public Offering (IPO) proposals to the pipeline of Securities Board of Nepal. If approved, these public offerings will collectively mobilize more than NPR 109 crore from investors.
Premier Distillery Proposes NPR 22.50 Crore IPO
Premier Distillery Limited has proposed issuing 2.25 million shares at a face value of NPR 100 per share, aiming to raise NPR 22.50 crore through the public offering.
The company has appointed Siddhartha Capital Limited as the issue manager. The IPO can only proceed after receiving approval from SEBON.
Premier Distillery was established in 2012 and converted into a public limited company in 2023. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Duhabi and markets alcoholic beverages under brands such as Pal Pal, The Himalayan Reserve, Old Monk, Black Stallion, and Royal Reserve.
Regarding its financial profile, the company recently received an upgraded rating from Infomerics Credit Rating Nepal Limited, which raised its long-term bank facilities rating to IRN BB+ from IRN BB and assigned an issuer rating of IRN BB+ (Is), indicating a moderate risk of default in meeting financial obligations.
Rajesh Metal Crafts Plans NPR 60 Crore Public Offering
Rajesh Metal Crafts Limited has submitted a proposal to issue 6 million shares at a face value of NPR 100 each, seeking to raise NPR 60 crore through its IPO.
The company has appointed Nabil Investment Banking Capital Limited as the issue manager.
Established in 1993, Rajesh Metal Crafts is a family-owned steel manufacturing company producing steel pipes, galvanized sheets, and color-coated sheets. The company was reconverted into a public limited company in May 2024 and primarily serves Nepal’s domestic construction and industrial markets.
The company has received an issuer rating of [ICRANP-IR] BBB from ICRA Nepal, reflecting a moderate degree of safety regarding the timely servicing of financial obligations.
Annapurna Machha Dana Udhyog Seeks NPR 10.09 Crore
Annapurna Machha Dana Udhyog Limited has proposed issuing 1,009,531 shares at a face value of NPR 100 per share, aiming to raise approximately NPR 10.09 crore.
The IPO issue will be managed by Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited.
Founded in 2021 and converted into a public company in 2025, the company operates a fish feed manufacturing plant in Khairahani. Its automated floating fish feed facility has an annual production capacity of 24,000 metric tonnes, and its products are marketed under the “Mastya Raja” brand.
Recently, Infomerics Nepal withdrew the company's earlier IRN BB-/A4 credit rating, with the withdrawal taking effect immediately.
Yuwarani Agro Industries Targets NPR 16.50 Crore
Yuwarani Agro Industries Limited has also entered SEBON’s IPO pipeline with a proposal to issue 1.65 million shares at a face value of NPR 100 each, aiming to raise NPR 16.50 crore.
The company has appointed Prabhu Capital Limited as the issue manager.
Established in 2020, Yuwarani Agro Industries is engaged in animal feed production and is developing an integrated agribusiness model that includes aquaculture, poultry farming, hatchery operations, feed production, and proposed slaughterhouse and cold storage facilities.
Infomerics Nepal has assigned the company an issuer rating of IRN BB- (Is), indicating a moderate risk of default regarding the timely servicing of financial obligations.
Growing IPO Pipeline
The addition of these four companies highlights the growing interest among Nepalese businesses in raising capital through the stock market. However, all four IPO proposals must first receive approval from SEBON before shares can be offered to the public. If approved, investors will gain exposure to companies operating in diverse sectors, including manufacturing, steel, agriculture, animal feed, and industrial production.
