A total of 349,377 bonus shares of Nepal Hydro Developers Limited (NHDL) have been officially listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) following the company's approved dividend distribution for the fiscal year 2081/82.
The bonus shares were approved by shareholders during the company's 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Poush 23, 2082. The AGM endorsed a 9.47% dividend, comprising 9% bonus shares worth approximately Rs. 3.49 crore and a 0.47% cash dividend (for tax purposes) amounting to around Rs. 18.38 lakh.
With the listing now completed, the newly issued bonus shares have been added to NEPSE's records and will become available for trading once they are credited to the respective shareholders' Demat accounts in accordance with the procedures of NEPSE and CDSC.
As of the latest market update, NHDL was trading at a Last Traded Price (LTP) of Rs. 638.70 per share.
