Garima Bikas Bank Limited has been recognized as the “Development Bank of the Year 2026” in the development bank category at the 18th Corporate Business Awards and Summit 2026, held in Kathmandu.
The award was presented by the event’s Chief Guest, Hon. Hari Dhakal, and received on behalf of the bank by Chief Executive Officer Madhav Prasad Upadhaya and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Anil Regmi.
This recognition adds to the bank’s recent achievements. Earlier, Garima Bikas Bank was also awarded “Best Managed Development Bank 2026” at the 10th NewBiz Conclave and Business Excellence Awards, reflecting the institution’s performance, operational management, and governance standards.
The bank currently holds both ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management systems and ISO 27001:2022 certification for information security management, reinforcing its focus on operational quality and secure banking practices.
