Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the latest official foreign exchange rates for today, setting updated values for major global currencies against the Nepali Rupee (NPR). The revised exchange rates influence international trade, remittance inflows, imports, overseas education payments, travel expenses, and foreign currency transactions across Nepal.
According to the central bank’s latest update, the US Dollar (USD) remains strong against the Nepali currency. The buying rate has been fixed at Rs. 151.24, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 151.88 per dollar.
Among European currencies, the Euro (EUR) continues to trade at a higher level, with a buying rate of Rs. 175.54 and a selling rate of Rs. 176.24. Likewise, the British Pound Sterling (GBP) remains one of the strongest currencies in the exchange table, trading at Rs. 203.02 for buying and Rs. 203.82 for selling.
The Swiss Franc (CHF) was valued at Rs. 190.67 (buying) and Rs. 191.43 (selling).

Meanwhile, the exchange value for the Indian Rupee (INR) remains fixed under the managed exchange arrangement, where INR 100 equals NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
NRB has stated that exchange rates may be revised whenever necessary depending on market conditions. Since commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, customers are advised to check updated rates before making currency exchanges or international transactions.
