NEPSE Adjusts STC Share Price to Rs. 5,424.57 Following Bonus Share Adjustment
Kathmandu — Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has adjusted the share price of Salt Trading Corporation Limited (STC) following the company’s book closure for its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) and dividend distribution.
According to NEPSE, the company’s share price has been adjusted after accounting for the announced 9.50% bonus shares. Following the adjustment, the new reference price of STC shares has been fixed at Rs. 5,424.57 per unit.
The adjusted price was calculated based on the last traded price from the previous trading session. On Tuesday, STC shares closed at Rs. 5,939.90 per share in the secondary market.
Trading of STC shares on Wednesday will begin based on this newly adjusted price.
59th Annual General Meeting Scheduled for Jestha 29
Salt Trading Corporation has called its 59th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, Jestha 29, 2083. The meeting will be held at Tribhuvan Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, starting at 11:00 AM.
The AGM will discuss and approve several key proposals, including:
- Distribution of 9.50% bonus shares to shareholders
- Distribution of 0.50% cash dividend for tax purposes
- Approval for obtaining loan facilities
- Appointment of an auditor
- Other regular AGM agendas
STC Shares Continue to Attract Long-Term Investors
Salt Trading Corporation remains one of Nepal’s most recognized government-backed companies in the stock market. Due to its stable financial performance and consistent dividend history, STC shares continue to attract long-term investors.
Market analysts believe that although the share price has technically adjusted after the bonus announcement, investor interest in STC is likely to remain strong in the long run.
